Lavern's 80th Birthday

Today is Wednesday, January 30th and it LaVerne Oyarzo's Birthday. What a great time it was to see all my friends from O.L.P.H. ( Our lady of Perpetual Help ). LaVerne has been a registered nurse for many years and was a native of Oakland. She also was the Mayor of Calistoga for four years in the nineties.I know her as a regular at daily mass, who stays after to say the rosary on Friday mornings.She has been an exemplary person who has helped a lot of people throughout her life. The lunch was a fabulous hot meal of either Chicken or Beef with potatoes, veggies and a spinach salad which was catered by Knickerbockers of St. Helena.
