It's Friday and I am ready to head off to work. It has been a little while since my last blog, so I figured that I could bang this one out in a hurry. My job has been lots of fun lately. I really like it when it gets busy with many visitors who come from all parts of the world. We are having a whole boatload of new students coming in this week too.

Trying and creating
Creativity... what a concept. Some think of the computer as a tool for creativity. In many ways it has become something that asuages creativity. I am not saying that the creative process has to be hard, but when something/anything gets banged out in a short period of time, it makes me think that one has acquired a minimal return of satisfaction on the result produced.Something else is going on here. A quickening process that usurps the appreciation of the value created. It's a tough call. The picture I use as a thumbnail usually has little or nothing in common with the content of the videos. I am trying to pull all my creative pursuits together into one.

Romance to the core
Lately, I have been looking at how much Apple has seduced me with their products. I am on a budget and have to be careful when it comes to making new purchases. As much as I have convinced myself that anything I acquire in the computer realm is an investment, I am sometimes deluding myself. After a third Ipod purchase, I realized that I don't need these things and am just lusting after something cool. The interesting thing though is that Apple products are superior, and it is a little scarey how much I desire them. Now with a week gone by after the IPhone's release, I am still haning on to my wallet and keeping my ear to the ground waiting for the other shoe to drop.

July the third
Ah yes... the day before independence day, 2007. It is hot and I am going shopping and then for a run with Don. Isn't that exciting? Anyway, I continue to do this blog because it is kind of like the diary I never kept as a kid. It would be nice to have a dialog with someone, however. Care to comment on this site? Don't be a chicken, I will probably respond !
