Life as a Concierge

Today is the tenth anniversary of the opening of Greystone. Even though thier were other "openings", this one is significant because it ws the official date... even though the restaurant opened it's doors later. Students here go about their business and I am here to book cooking demos, dispense information and to give a good, general overall impression of the grandeur which is Greystone. To learn the history of this place. you have to do more than just read about it.It must be experienced. Standing in the atrium you cannot help but to look up. Especially if you have never been here before. All the stonework was quarried at the Palisades just north of here. The building was the largest stone winery in the world at one time.
